Nob Hill Spa (L'Etoile)

This was the location of L’Etoile, a French restaurant where Prue and Father Paddy ate a late supper.  And shared some gossip.  While having dessert, Prue revealed to Father Paddy her growing relationship with Luke, the charming man she met living in a gardener’s shed in Golden Gate Park (Further Tales of the City).    

In the miniseries, Prue and Father are eating lunch at Perry’s.  Brian serves them…and catches Father Paddy’s eye.

L’Etoile closed in 1990 after operating for 24 years.  Nob Hill Spa took over the location.  The entrance to Nob Hill Spa is through The Huntington’s lobby.
